I often look back on my time at University with a mixture of fondness and disgust. The one thing I nver managed to do was to settle into my living situation properly. My best friend has a couple of parrots that she took from a man who was not taking good care of them.  He would leave them without food and water for long periods of time and never cleaned their cages.  She called me up and told me about the situation and asked me what I thought she should do.  I told her we could report him or just ask him to give them up.  When she asked him about the birds he said he would let her have them and the parrot cage that he kept them in.  They are so happy now and are really friendly since she has been working with them.

Last summer, my friends and I really learned the meaning of being pampered. We took a week-long vacation on one of the Princess Cruise Ships, and had the time of our lives.
