There is just something about the rivers that flow through the Great Smoky Mountains that attracts me to photograph them.  The first one that I photographed was the Little River just above the Elkmont camp ground.  I have taken several along the Middle Prong Little River including one when the snow was still lying along the banks.  I have a panorama that was created by shooting at the point where the Middle Prong of the Little Pigeon River joins up with the Little Pigeon.  It made for an interesting image because the river split in two and created a small island before dumping into the main water body.
