I am thinking about buying a home in Daytona Beach.  Since this is a major decision that will affect my life for many years to come, I am carefully researching the Internet for information on the current real estate market in that area.  I read an article online by a Daytona Beach real estate agent who says the area is full of Daytona Beach Homes available at exceptional prices.  She gave this advice for potential buyers.  Before contacting a real estate agent, have an idea of what you are looking for in a house and the price you are willing to pay.  Make a list of your requirements such as square footage, one or two floors, the location and view.  Be aware the last two factors can increase the asking price of a house 20%-30%.  She also noted that with prices and mortgage rates continuing to drop, this is an excellent time to buy real estate in Daytona Beach.
