Checking for Sex Offenders in My Area
I am looking to buy a new house, and I want to make sure that there aren’t any sex offenders in the neighborhood where I end up moving to. I have heard that this is a matter of Public Records, and that it is possible to do a search to check out where the nearest sex offenders are to your location. Can anyone tell me where I can go to do this? A friend of mine told me that she had heard about a free website that allows you to do this, and I am trying to find it so that I can do a check.
